slamabad: Rehman Malik announced that the riding on motor bike has been banned in Karachi and Quetta and it will apply on Friday morning from 6 am to 7 pm. He said that the services of mobile phone will also remain suspended today i.e. 1st Muharram. Weapon exhibition has also been banned for tomorrow. According to media reports, shops will be open at 10 am and will close at sharp 5 pm.Interior Minister said that without paper people are not allow to ride a bike or drive a car otherwise they will get punishment.
Further, he said that the main reason behind the ban on riding a motor bike is to avoid any tragic incident which can happen on 1st Muharram (today). There are reports that terrorism activities may happen in Karachi and Quetta.
